I have posted a new video of our light show.  This one is from our camera instead of my phone.

We wish Erica and Tim a happy and fun life as they start their new adventure as husband and wife.

We enjoyed bringing them the music for the formalities and the dance.  It was fun meeting with them in preparation of their special day.

Good luck for your new life together.

I have been behind in my up dates.  Thanks to Melissa and Justin for a great time at their reception and dance.  It was a big flight of stairs but we made it up and help taking the equipment back down.  Thanks to those that helped.  Thanks for the nice comment in our guest book.  I hope your life has been filled with fun all summer.

Music to me- Big D

Music can set the mood for any event. It can relax you, help put you to sleep, or make it so you can't sit still in your seat. Music can help you recall the past, or make whats going on in the present memorable for a lifetime. In general music is a window to the soul, whither it be a war chant ,or a celebration. That's ...why I love music so much. All kinds of music, from Mozart to Nickelback.

Young & Zarcone Wedding 10-10-2009

Gail & I got to know Ian through karaoke on Friday nights at a local pub. It did not take long to see that Ian loved to have fun and  to dance. We quit seeing Ian for a while, we thought he was just working a lot.  Ian called one night and said he found the love of his life. Gail & I were very happy  for Ian. We finely got to meet Jennifer closer to the wedding. Ian and Jennifer met on line and when Ian saw Jennifer on the WKBT Monday Morning makeover, that's when he said he knew he was in love with Jennifer.   (Jennifer was hoping to surprise Ian, but he was watching the morning show that day)

Gail and I were very honored to be able to provide our music services at their wedding.

They were married at the Mill Road Banquet Center in Galesville, Wi. (some might remember this hall as the old curling club building) The hall is very spacious and beautiful. They have two areas separated by a kitchen. The larger area is approx. 45 feet wide by approx. 75 feet long hardwood floor with an intimate bar. In this area there are eight ceiling fans with lights to help keep it cool once the dancing gets fired up. There are perimeter lights all of  which  can be dimmed, This is perfect for using our  disco lights. The smaller area is on the other side of the kitchen and is quieter so people can go there and talk. The owner says they are not done yet, hard to believe .  I rate this hall as one of the best in the area.  it can hold 300 people.

Wow What a fun wedding:

Gail and I had the honor of doing the wedding reception for Jhor-dan and Kristi Lindsey  at the Valley High golf course. TheY  have a nice intimate little hall that will hold about 200 people. The dance floor is approximately 20x30 hard wood floor. This awesome couple did most of the usual dances, which included the dollar dance. With one exception they gave all the money from the dollar dance to the Onalaska American Legion to help  veterans.  They did this even tho Jhor-dan is laid off at present. With the future in the hands of young people like this it  should give  us all a positive feeling for the future of our country. Gail and I want to wish this wonderful couple a long and happy future together.

Thank you for allowing us to be a part of the festivities: Big D

Gail and I did a class reunion for the Central Class of 84. It was a lot of fun rockin' the tunes for my old alma mater. About 80 to 90 people attended the class reunion. We were able to take care of about 99% of the requests brought up to us. We were told that we did a great job by several people. We  had a great time doing it. There are some pictures in our album of the reunion.

Thanks Central for a great night, and fond memories: Big D

BIG D's thoughts on Michael Jackson

You may not like the man, but what he brought to the music world , in the new way of doing music video's and the new form of dance, has to be respected . MJ was and will always be the king of pop, just as Elvis is the king of rock. MJ has had some bad things said about him, but then can we really trust what the media says at all. They have their own reasons for keeping rumors going.  I do not believe half of what the media says. R.I.P. MJ Your innovations will be missed!!!

One thing about being married to a DJ is that there is always music in the house and  car.  Well, not my car since it is a 1989 Chevy and still has a tape player and I haven't taken time to record any on a cassette tape.  It is a very nice car.

Big D is always playing with the music on his computer.  He has all the music on a separate hard drive and will soon have the software and  a laptop so finding your favorite song will only be a few key strokes away.  He will also be able to set up the song list and fade into the next song with no interruptions.  Your dancing feet won't even have time to stop before the next song starts.  Don't worry he will give you a chance to rest as he puts in a few slow dance tunes.  Wedding dances are a nice time for those that have been married  awhile to celebrate their memories during the slow dance.  For the couples that have taken dance classes it is time for them to show off their fancy steps.  Imagine holding your special someone in your arms and floating around the dance floor, singing  love songs to each other.  At the end the little kiss that says I'm so glad you're mine as you walk off the dance floor.

These are the memories Big D and I would like to help you create.  He was just playing Rod Stewart's "Have I told you lately that I love you".  That is what moved me to write the last paragraph, seeing the dancers  in my mind,  the light show reflecting off the floor and walls to the time of the music.

Our wish to the happy couple are beautiful memories of your special day.
